Next Event at Hucks for International Women’s Day

She17_iwd2017

We are coming out of hibernation with our first event of 2017 on 12th March, with some great new debuts from some fine local acts and some returning performers too:

Julie Usher, is a very talented and experienced  blues guitarist, gigging regularly with her electric guitar in the BlueTone Groovers. She is playing solo acoustic guitar for her first She17 event.

Steph Godderidge is an experienced vocalist with a wide range and repetoire and will be singing a capella.

Karen Logan is also making her she17 debut as an a capella singer.

We have some teens returning to She17 also:  Serena Reynolds-Lomax, Lexie Potgeiter (above),  Jemma Engle and Cara Consiglio all return for this show.

Then there’s the duos – More Peas ( Lucy Bantam and Muriel Go – pictured above) return with more up tempo, percussive tunes  and Sulk (Kim Watson and Angie Hillcoat) will be playing some of their latest songs, off the back of some acoustic gigs already this year.

This event will be free but we’ll be collecting for East London based charity

The Young Women’s Trust.

From 2-5pm Sunday 12 March,  At Hucks Cafe, 81 Grove Road, Walthamstow E17 8BU.

Interested in performing at She17?  There’s still a couple of slots for our next event on 30th April. Come and see us on 12th March if interested or email she17music@icloud.com for more details.
