She17 acts confirmed  are:  Crow Hall, Eva Destruction, Sam Kurt, This Is Cleo, Lady President and SULK.

6pm – 8pm is the She17 time slot, immediately after the folk clubs 4-6pm slot and before the Electronic17 8-9pm set.

Here’s more details about this event and its beneficiary Walthamstow Migrant Action Centre:

The third Stow-a-Thon takes place on Sunday May 1st, 24hours of FREE non-stop live music at the Rose and Crown.

It’s a fantastic community day catering for all musical tastes with music performed by everyone from 3-year-olds to aging rockers.

There are full bands playing folk, rock, disco and electronic music. Together with choirs, singer songwriters and talented youngsters. All the musicians are drawn from around Walthamstow.

This bank holiday event is all to raise much needed money and awareness for the Walthamstow Migrant Action Centre.

The centre provides a weekly drop-in space in Walthamstow offering free legal advice for migrants. Set up in 2014, it desperately needs additional funding to expand its services.

Cuts to legal aid and statutory services mean it’s increasingly difficult for migrants to access professional legal advice, leaving many in precarious situations and hardship.

Those who do reach the UK can wait months or even years for a decision on asylum, during which time they’re not allowed to work and are allocated just £5 a day. Many are left facing homelessness and destitution.

So do come along and  support a great cause.

Here’s some images of the acts who’ll be appearing from the recent David Bowie tribute that raised money for Shine Cancer Support
