First birthday event feat. Emily Barker – Now Sold Out!

First Birthday Acoustic Extravaganza  – Featuring Emily Barker and guests

She 17 are delighted to welcome the incredibly talented Emily Barker for a guest slot at our first birthday event, following the huge success of her Dear River album and tour with her band The  Red Clay Halo and fresh from her recent European tour with Austin Lucas and PJ Bond.

Emily Barker is in She17’s opinion the best singer, songwriter, guitarist on the music scene at the moment (irrespective of her gender). She blends exquisite folk, country and punk styles with beautiful stories from her native Australia and from her travels around the world. She is best known for her song Nostalgia which was used as the theme tune to Wallander and for her regular live radio apperances on the Dermot O’Leary show. Last year she was also chosen by BBC Radio’s Bob Harris to go to Nashville. She’s also recently written and recorded a film score for a British Inde feature film, starring Keith Allen and Peter Mullan. We’re extremely lucky to have this rising star at our first birthday event. To find out more about Emily and her music  visit
