We’re back with another Stowfest showcase of womens and girls music on Saturday 17th September.
This is also happening over the Stowfestival weekend and after two years of timing our September event to be a part of this weekend of local music, we’re doing the same again this year. But there’s a difference to She17’s involvement this year, we’re not just co-promoting She17 and Stowfestival! I have also volunteered to help with the PUNK Waltham Forest exhibition presented by BeatRoots Creative and LBWF as a major celebration of 40 years of punk in the borough. This event is is also forming a major part of the Stowfest 2016 program.

SHEFEST#3 is taking place on Saturday 17th September at the new time 7.30pm – 10pm at the Wynwood Cafe on Chingford Road, as part of the Stowfestival. Confirmed acts include: Lady President, two women members of group More Peas (Lucy & Muri), Sam Henwood, Sam Kurt, 13 year old songwriter Jemma Engle and Mariache17.
Following a fantastic Stow-a-thon She17 session in May, we’re also back on the fundraising trail in October too with another We Shall Overcome event of music against austerity measures the afternoon of Sunday 9th October in a new venue.
